With two weeks now under the belt here in the lovely Albania, this video helps to show 'Whats Up'. Cool tidbit is, this phrase "Qe Bona" is the phonetic pronunciation of the Albanian words for What's Up!

DeleteJosh, I see you have had a taste of teaching children a new language. Its not always easy but it is fulfilling. I understand how you feel some times I get frustrated too. But you got to realize that people all over the world want to do what you are doing and have these opportunities. When you get discouraged just remember two things, you are changing the world for the better, which is a difficult thing in this world. Secondly, you are living your dream, there are billions of people that cannot say that and that are lost in their own lives. So enjoy the hardships because they make the sweetness so much sweeter.
ReplyDeleteI still go into classes thinking I'm not equipped enough, or how did I fake myself here. But the truth is that we are where we are because people saw something in us, and they chose us. This organization could have said no we don't need you but instead the asked you to stay and be apart of their lives and dreams. So go forth young man, sounds like grandpop, and conquer the world of your own fears. I miss you and can't wait for our up coming adventure.
